Celebrate Spring Ridge Fall FUNdraiser on Friday, September 11th from 5-8 pm.
Once again, the PTO has voted to continue our “No-Sell FUNdraiser” program as we sponsor a fun evening of socializing for all families. For those families who are new to Spring Ridge, for the last three years we have opted to go a different direction with our fall fundraiser by trying something that did NOT require your child(ren) to sell anything to family, friends or neighbors. Judging from the feedback, we don’t think anyone missed the cookie dough, gift wrap, gifts and magazines!
While we decided to say no to sending our kids door-to-door, it’s important to remember we still need to raise funds for Spring Ridge Elementary. The PTO sponsors and supports our children’s education and the teachers who instruct them. Funding is needed to supplement our classroom materials, the library, field trips, after school clubs, staff appreciation week, and many other fun family activities the PTO sponsors.
This school year, Spring Ridge Elementary has 555 students enrolled. We have 25 teachers and a total of 71 staff members as a whole. If each family contributes a $15 per child tax-deductible gift we can raise enough money to continue to offer unique opportunities for our children and their education. Our goal is to raise $7,000. Any amount you feel comfortable giving toward that effort will be greatly appreciated.
